The 21st Biophilia Rehabilitation Conference in Japan (21st BRC) will be held at Kanagawa Kenmin Hall in Yokohama at the 26-27th, August 2017.

This conference have Mrs. Rika Wada of Tachibana plastic surgery as general chair of 21st BRC.
Mrs. Wada's major is rehabilitation medicine, and she has already performed a large number of studies about rehabilitation.

Moreover, she has studied what kind of rehabilitation is effective for patients from the viewpoint of physical therapist. In the past international Biophilia Rehabilitation Conference, she has exhibited many research findings.

I think that she is adequate for the chairperson of Biophilia Rehabilitation Conference this year.
I think that new rehabilitation system should be discussed by rehabilitation doctors, physical therapists and university professors together.

The limit has occurred to the present system that one physical therapist treats one patient in the field of rehabilitation. We require the new rehabilitation system that one physical therapist treats plural patients in the future aging society.
The devices of rehabilitation should be changed for these people that depends on which part of the brain is affected. Besides, we think that those devices are the most effective in what way the patients use the devices.I think that the next-generation rehabilitation system will be accomplished by organically connecting the proposal of new medical service, development of devices and system design of rehabilitation.
I hope that the 21th Conference become an opportunity which make a new innovation in the field of rehabilitation happen.
